  This was the first time we ate here. The service was wonderful. The food was tasty and enjoyable and they got it right out to us. We had brunch plates. I got the junior and my husband the regular waffle plate. The portions were just right for both of us. The owner, Dwayne, came by personally and when we were done he came back with thank you chocolates. The decore is welcoming and the traffic flows well. We recommend this restaurant and we’ll be back.

  My husband and I have tried almost every brunch/breakfast place in Amarillo and this is fantastic. Beyond amazing. I’m not a big sweets for breakfast person but my husband and I both had signature waffle plates. He got banana cream and I got cheesecake. Both were phenomenal. Our eggs were prepared perfectly and the meat and potatoes were on point. Definitely worth it and will definitely be coming back.

  I’m going to be honest. I miss the old days when your fountain machine was out front and there was a syrup bottle on the table. If you order waffles in America you need syrup. The new toasted yolk restaurant brings you a whole syrup container as do several others. They brought a BEC sammy with no syrup. I asked for some and she brought 2 small plastic containers. Not near enough. And she said normally they only bring one. Is there a shortage? People love syrup. And now my drink is empty but I still have food to eat. Was it costing too much for customers getting refills? If so I guess I understand. But if refills are still free do you know what a pain it is for customers to go to the counter and have to ask for one? Been coming here a long time. I miss the old days. You guys had a good thing going. I truly hope you listen to your customers needs. They are the life of a restaurant.

  I expected it to be busy today and was impressed with the service and friendly atmosphere. There were great reviews and I know the owners so I was looking forward to trying it. There is plenty of space with multiple types of seating for people who want a quieter more intimate experience as well as large spaces for groups. They also have games for families or groups of friends to play whether they are waiting for food or just want to go in and enjoy the calm atmosphere for a while. I love the family friendly atmosphere they have created! The owners go around and check with each table to welcome them and make sure the experience is what people expected or to ask if there is anything they can do to make their experience better if there is a problem. All of the staff I encountered obviously enjoy their job and are definitely in the right place for their heart of service! I know the owners have a great deal to do with that! I tried the skinny Elvis which is waffles with bananas, peanut butter and whipped cream. I was in love as this is the perfect combo of waffles I enjoy. It exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back! If you are looking for a less busy atmosphere during the week might be a better time to go or in the evenings.   This place was amazing. The coffee was delicious, highly recommend the white maple latte. The food was great. I believe both owners were walking around and checked on each table. Both asked us if everything was good and if we were happy. As someone who was worked in food service, this was top notch. You order at the counter and take a card to your table of your choice. Lots of gluten free options which is what drew us in. We will definitely be back!
