This is a great spot, especially if you like matcha! I received a recommendation from the barista and it was top-notch. I also think this location is a really peaceful option if you need to work at a coffee shop—way less chaotic than other spots around here!

Such a lovely shop! I met a friend for tea and coffee here and was happily greeted with friendly service. It’s the kind of place where they make you feel like a regular on your very first visit. I got a chai with oat milk and it was delicious and the shop was spotless. I’ll be back.

Their website and building say they open at 7AM on Sundays. Came to the store at 8:15AM and they were closed.

I walked into Sweetwaters Coffee expecting to be welcomed by the smell of coffee, but instead the first thing I noticed was a strong smell of cleaning supplies. I brushed that off, thinking at least I’d still get a great cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the experience kept going downhill. There were only two customers in the building, yet no one greeted me when I came in. When I placed my order, I asked for a splash of heavy cream. While the employee was ringing me up, the manager or owner, I’m not sure which, stood behind her and in an irritated tone said, “The splash of heavy is not free,” then quickly took over the transaction. Charging $0.80 for a splash of heavy cream is already a little wild, but the way it was handled felt rude and unnecessary. What really stood out most was the attitude. The entire time my drink was being made, she looked visibly annoyed. My Italian grandma, who passed away last month 😢, used to always say, “It’s so good because I make it with love.” That stuck with me here for the opposite reason. There was no warmth, no hospitality, and honestly, no love in this cappuccino. I don’t mind paying for extras, and I understand businesses have policies. But tone, service, and atmosphere matter just as much as the drink. I hope this location works on making customers feel welcome
