  I had a very disappointing experience at H-E-B Allen on April 22 around 8 PM at the express checkout. There was some confusion in line when a customer ahead of me stepped away and another person was at the end bagging groceries. I thought she is a HEB employee until she said excuse me, and approached to the register to pay.I made space by backing up my cart. The associate, Brody, told me to move my cart back more in a very abrupt and unfriendly tone, which I did. When it was my turn, the interaction only got worse. Brody did not greet me or make eye contact. He bluntly said, “Can I scan those?” referring to my two empty water jugs. When I asked for clarification, he repeated “I need to scan them”. I explained that the jugs are refilled and paid for outside, and from that point on he stayed completely silent for the rest of the transaction. I left the store feeling frustrated and honestly surprised. H-E-B has always been one of my favorite stores because of its consistently great customer service, which is why this stood out so much. I hope management looks into this, because this experience was far from the standard H-E-B is known for.

  So glad to have an HEB in the area. Their HEB brand products are superior to most name brands. Great meat, cheese, and vegetables!

  Love the tortillas and original selection of HEB products. Staff keep the store clean, bright and well stocked. The hanging coupons are a old school way of getting discounts, keep a eye out.

  Hey, HEB! Stop raising prices on Farmer Cheese! I was so excited when you finally started carrying it and it started so good with $4 per package. Now it is almost at $6! I know you probably didn’t expect so many Slavic people in the area who are basically fighting for it by the shelf but please be decent.

  Just try to buy groceries here. Almost every isle has tons of products blocking the isle while employees load shelves. And wait, there’s more! Big multi-level red mobile racks - many of them, being moved all around the store by people grabbing items for shoppers picking up or for deliveries. But wait, there’s more! Multiple employees standing in the isles talking to each other, unwilling to move out of the way. I watched as one employee dumped bananas on the floor from a box from 3-4 feet high. Now we know how HEB bananas get so bruised. HEB has become hard to go through and buy groceries. But wait, there’s more! Now go check out if you can. Two full service check outs open. Really HEB? HEB had turned into Kroger.
