However, if your workers such as “Alvin” the shorter gentleman on the left in the photo, wants to be extremely rude to third party drivers by not communicating with them and or ignoring their questions…you lose a customer as well as respect as a company. I shop here all the time, but the second I’m working third party- customer services becomes horrible. Very rude and very unprofessional but also it’s telling what kind of people get hired here.

I am the first to admit that was a big mistake. The BBQ is legit. The brisket is on point. All of the proteins hold their own when stacked up against some of the better stand alone BBQ joints I have been to. I’m not saying that they are the best in Texas because we all know Texas has the best BBQ on the planet. With that said HEB is the real deal. The sides are great and some of the specialty items like the Texas Torpedo Bacon wrapped brisket stuffed jalapeño poppers are amazing. If you want great BBQ at a price that won’t break the bank when feeding the entire family HEB’s Texas BBQ won’t disappoint. The employee that helped guide me thru this experience was Vishv Ajith. Thank you for your amazing service and your stellar recommendations.
