In addition many of the blackberry packages available for sale were already spoiled. This is concerning from both a freshness and hygiene standpoint.

After saying “no thanks” he said “don’t take pictures in my store” if this is a store policy I understand, but I was not aware before this incident. How this employee handled the situation was incredibly unprofessional. I didn’t catch his name, hotheaded little dude though needs to be kept on a leash.

Some of the labeling is a bit misleading, particularly when it comes to fruits and vegetables. It’s really easy to pay more than you think you’re going to because of the way things are labeled. The store itself is a bit of a zoo or circus if you will. A lot of people. The store can be a bit intimidating. We got what we needed and left.

We are practicing Hindus and thus we are vegetarian, however the employee staff is not courteous enough to double check samples when asked if they are vegetarian. We ended up eating HEB’s Creole sauce that contained rendered chicken fat, and the employee serving these samples was unaware that this ingredient even existed in the pasta. This is a disgusting amount of negligence and I am not happy with this branch.
