- TBTodd BJan 15, 20263.0I work nearby and have went to both Smyrna Wendy’s locations many times. In the past, the S. Lowry St. location has always been the better of the two and great in all areas. A good track record, to be sure. BUT, I hadn’t been there in a while and the following is based on two recent visits to the S. Lowry Wendy’s location. It was down a notch. -Personally, I think Wendy’s normally has the best fast food french fries. Not these two visits. Soggy and under cooked. -BBQ sauce? Nope, they were out (on one visit). -Nuggets tasted like the oil needed to be changed. They had that fishy type taste (on one visit). -The burgers weren’t bad but, not as good as before. Also, I noticed that a couple of great, longtime employees (that I almost always saw at lunchtime) weren’t there for either visit. Maybe just a coincidence.
