Just sat for almost 40 minutes for a burger, fries, and medium drink. It was a mobile order placed in advance, after I got checked in nothing ever came out and by this point I’m late to go back to work from my 30 minute lunch break. Got there at 12:27 and checked in. It was 1:06and I hit the speaker again and asked about my food. She said oh yeah it’s sitting here. They immediately bring it out and I start to leave. I’m going down the road and the fries are ice cold. At this point I’m already so late getting back to work I have no time to turn around and wait again for food that isn’t cold and soggy. Incredibly frustrating. It’s clear it was forgotten and had been sitting there a long time and yet they still handed it off with cold food like rubbing salt into the wound. Also FYI it’s better to put the fries in standing up instead of dumping the entire thing out.

Definitely don’t let the app round up your total automatically and make sure you are aware of what the app does. if you’re planning to leave a cash tip. I went to Sonic Drive-In today to pick up an order for my brother’s girlfriend while she was on her break. She had told me what she wanted so I just put it in on the app then put the order in, and I just went to grab it. The total was around $6, and I had $3 in cash ready to give to the carhop in my hand out of the window. The girl who first handled the order on headset gave me kind of rude vibes, but I brushed it off. I figured maybe she was just having a bad day, and she wasn’t even the one bringing the food anyway.. Then the carhop came out, though, she handed me the food with an attitude and just said, “Here.” It caught me off guard. I didn’t understand why the energy felt so off. Later, when I checked the receipt while I was parked at Sonic wondering why the shitty attitude looked in the app had automatically rounded up the total. I hadn’t noticed it at all and didn’t even know that was something Sonic did. So I’m assuming that why they were being that way. Cause it was like $5.55 and Sonic’s app just put $6 like eww I would be kinda like that’s weird you miswell leave nothing it what I would be thinking but I had nothing to do with Sonic rounding up if they would have really looked at the receipt 🙄 and so I’m assuming that why she was that way and then quickly stormed off before I could hand it to her. I’m pretty soft-spoken, so I didn’t call out right away. So then I rang the the bell to have her come back so I could give her the tip as I was on the phone with my friend explaining the interaction and she was like just drive off but then I was like I already rang to explain and she was like no I wouldn’t they wanted to act that way then cut you off just go so so I did to save me the interaction and just leave but now I feel bad, but at that point the whole interaction felt awkward and uncomfortable, so I just left. What made it worse was that I noticed I had waited longer than people who arrived after me, which added to the feeling that I was being judged or misunderstood over something completely out of my control. I get it tho if I thought the round-up amount was my tip, maybe she felt slighted cause I would too. But I honestly had no idea it was added, and I always prefer to tip cash anyway so it not taxed since a lot of my friends will serve on the weekends and have worked at Sonic so I know how important it is to tip and even have left a $20 tip last time to a Sonic car hop and a couple times when I was in James town tn had also given them jewelry I didn’t open and gift cards during the holidays if I got a drink plus the cash tip because I get that serving at a fast food or restaurant can be hard and don’t pay their employees enough but I just left and gave nothing I was treated like a shitty person so I left like one I don’t even care anymore it’s over my brothers girlfriend has her food so I’m not stressing about it but that’s why people shouldn’t just assume because that’s crazy work and honestly it might not even be about the tip that was automatically added that just what I was assuming why the attitude was given. I honestly don’t know just ended up being a petty, awkward situation over $3 that I wanted to give for an order that wasn’t even mine but you know what its done and over and I guess I can only know for next time if I’m getting anything for anyone again to just order when I get their so I don’t gotta deal with that shit. Maybe they were just having a bad day. I just wish the interaction hadn’t felt so tense over something I didn’t do wrong but I do feel bad for just leaving like actually but honestly if it was someone else I’m sure they would too..

Place is ran by teenagers , it takes almost an hour for one cheeseburger and a drink , and when they bring you your food they most likely got your order wrong , worst sonic in the state by far

This Sonic's breakfast crew is always on point, but after about 9 or 10, service and quality are slow and terrible. I ordered an ultimate meat and cheese burrito today and barely got more than a tortilla and eggs. It had a little meat on it and no cheese at all. No idea how you can forget to add the cheese to an ultimate meat and cheese burrito. The early morning crew is the only redeeming quality for this location.

The blonde girl was so extremely rude to me and decided to have a nasty attitude for absolutely NO reason to do so. I have read these other reviews and I have even seen other people also complain about this girl. So disappointing to see that people who hate their jobs work somewhere where they can OBVIOUSLY find something that they actually enjoy to do. Absolutely unnecessary teenage behavior.
