My daughter sometimes has difficulty in new places, with autism that's to be expected... We get seated, our waitress greets us right away, takes our drink order, asks if we are going to have the buffet, and sends us on our way up there. What we didn't realize is that my daughter would struggle with the lack of her favorite food options, along with the lagging service on her iPad (iykyk) and she had a meltdown, a big one, that resulted in us choosing to leave because we never want to be the someone can't enjoy themselves.my daughter and I went to the car, while my boyfriend attempted to pay. THE STAFF WAS SO GRACIOUS, telling us they understood and we didn't have to leave, asked how they could better accommodate her, etc etc... we still chose to leave, they didn't charge us for our food, we tipped the waitress, and another staff member asked my boyfriend if he could give my daughter something, he took the charm from his necklace and brought it to us in the car, the Christianity fish, I could have cried. Despite the situation we were treated with the upmost respect! Bless you all!
- BBBillyNov 2, 20252.0The food here was absolutely terrible, everything was overcooked, dry, I thought there is noway you can ruin instant mashed potatoes, I stand corrected, it was like glue in your mouth, this all you can eat buffet is bottom of the barrel.. I will never visit another Shoneys, the joke now is "there's a shoneys.." as we drive past it, and there are everywhere..
