- DPDale PerkinsNov 22, 20255.0We just tried FATS for the first time. The food is INCREDIBLE! We ordered ribs and pulled pork. They smoke pork shoulders and it was really good. There is a good amount of hickory smoke flavor in the meat. The ribs were meaty and tender. We also had the BBQ beans which have a lot of the pulled pork in them so they had an incredible smoky flavor. The potato salad was in a league of its own. They make it with new potatoes with some of the skin on. YUM! The staff were super friendly and helpful. They also have brisket, chicken and Wednesdays are wing days. FATS is my new favorite BBQ joint. Be advised that there is no dining room. It is take out only but don't let that deter you. Take yourself down there ASAP and try the best BBQ in the Knoxville metropolitan area.
