  First time in Nashville and we decided to try Saltgrass Steakhouse at Opry Mills and I’m so glad we did! The experience was great, but our server Jenna truly made it exceptional. She was fantastic, super charismatic, confident, and you can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. She had a natural way of guiding us through the menu, gave great recommendations, and everything she suggested was spot on. We ordered the filet steak, spare ribs, and the artichoke shrimp pasta, and every single dish was delicious and came out right on time. No complaints at all on the food. But honestly, Jenna was the highlight of the entire experience. She knows her stuff, created such a great vibe, and made our first Nashville dining experience one to remember. I’d come back in a heartbeat, especially to sit in her section again.

  I went here for my birthday dinner-1st time, and waiter said waiting for bread to come out of the oven but never ever brought us any in the hour we were there. When I got my meal I ate a piece of shrimp before realizing it was never cleaned and was full of poop so of course I refused to eat anything else on my plate because it’s disgusting and I instantly lost my appetite. When we told the waiter he said he would talk to the manager. The manager should have come to the table to address and apologize but nope, never happened. And you could see the majority of my food wasn’t touched and I said no to taking it home because why would I want to and they didn’t even take the meal off the ticket only discounted it from $32.99 to $26.99, sorry but no you should have removed the meal altogether because like I said utterly disgusting and makes the rest of the food very questionable. I wouldn’t even finish my cocktail either. I appreciate the guy walking around to take photos but not expecting that while trying to have a family dinner with my kids for my birthday so weird but whatever. My first time here and my last and I’ve already told about 20 people who will also never try your restaurant.

  Walked in around three something to ask what time they close and if we need a reservation, and the employee who Walked up to me told me they close at 7 and that they would have alot of no shows today and no need to worry about reservation, so i came back right before 6 and another employee in a yellow shirt told me that it would be a 45 minute to an hour wait because of being short staffed, I explained to him what the other employee told me a couple hours before and with an attitude stated that he has been there all day and I'm like well you weren't there when I walked in. I decided to just take my business next door to the aquarium restaurant

  We were excited to eat at Saltgrass for our date night but upon arriving to the hostess counter we were immediately told not taking any walk-ins. I asked if there were reservations only and was rudely and uncaringly told no. We went into bar area because most bars are open seating. The bar stools were full and two guys who walked in sat at at A table at the bar and then was instructed that those had to be for the hostess. They walked over to the hostess and the Other hostess that did not greet us, took them over there and set them down. I went back out, looked at my phone to see if there was reservations and there was a reservations available 10 minutes from the time we arrived, which the hostess never told us about and could’ve cared less if we ate there or we didn’t eat there. So I went back and I said can we do these online reservation? She said oh those don’t work. They won’t work rudely and Hateful like she was a middle school girl mad at her mom. I asked why The other guys got to be seated and she said they were on a waitlist which I doubt very much! We left and called the manager to let him know what it happened. He could’ve cared less didn’t care if we were satisfied or dissatisfied was rude to my wife on the phone and luckily we don’t have to eat at Sawgrass. We went to Johnny Rockets, where the hostess was kind considerate set us with a smile and was very accommodating.

  Ashley was fantastic and was training Taylor this evening who was also great!! They made our family's time together very enjoyable. I would also like to commend the restaurant for accommodating our party of 10 and getting us two nearby tables so we could all be near each other. The other server that took care of the rest of our party, didn't catch their name did a great job as well. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and I loved my ribeye steak with the additional Oscar topping that was cooked to a perfect medium!! It was a great first experience at your restaurant and we look forward to visiting in the future!!
