We enjoyed an absolutely outstanding business-related dinner at Oak last evening. The food was certainly excellent but what stood out for me even more was the service we received from our waiter, Josh A. They were kind, funny, engaged and made recommendations that were spot-on. The interaction felt so much more than simply transactional. Thank you Josh! The menu options will have something to impress even the most discerning palates and you will leave feeling that the money you spent on the meal was more than a great value. Thank you to all the kitchen, wait and bus staff for a fantastic experience we won’t soon forget.

Subpar steaks compared to places that charge far less. The service and atmosphere are off the charts. However, the more I think about it the more I think the service and atmosphere is dialed up to hide the fact that the food isn't worth the price.

Our night was amazing last night even though we were in a rush Abbie made sure it was an amazing experience and quickly got us our food so we could make our show on time, and we did! She deserves cool sides of the pillow and may her coffee always be hot! Next time we come we want her to serve us again! That was our first time and it was so memorable with our kids! Thanks to the Oak cooks as well the food was so well prepared and tasted amazing!

First time here, on the recommendation of a friend. Busy enough that you need reservations. Walk from near Bridgestone Arena was easy. Our group loved the assorted salads and raw bar options especially the tuna crudo and the beet salad (presentation matched the flavor). Steaks, crab cakes, and scallops were perfectly cooked. Our group really liked the grilled mixed mushrooms and the grilled heirloom carrots. Bar had good pours and an excellent selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

I am a regular attendee at the Oak in Charleston and was excited to try this one in Nashville but came away quite disappointed in the service and disorganization. We arrived at 7:25 for our 7:30 reservation and was told our table would be ready soon. We watched as others came in after us and were seated but we were not. I asked the hostess around 7:50 if they still had our table and she apparently not realize I was still waiting so disappeared for 10 minutes until I was seated. Once we were seated, our food took over an hour to be served after ordering. Our waiter did the best he could but the kitchen really dragged their feet and it was close to 9:15 when we ended up eating. We were only a 3 person table so we were kind of shocked that it took so long. We paid the $400 bill and tipped accordingly but it was very off putting how there was no apology for our wait (for the table and the food). I understand things can get busy, but they were not organized at all and dinner took 3 hours (mostly waiting) because of it.
