  Absolutely loved the food. Amazing vegan options. I recommend the veggie chunks curry style. Don’t let the prices sway you. The value and quality makes it worth it.

  I really wanted to like the food as a fellow Jamaican but unfortunately my food was far from good. I ordered Jamaican brown stew chicken and rice and peas. That was not brown stew chicken. It had a weird jelly consistency in the gravy, the meat was weird and mushy, the overall taste was so off, nothing close to authentic Jamaican brown stew chicken. The rice was mushy. I was just so taken aback. I don't know what happened, if I came too late (around 9pm), but I was very sad with my plate. I could not finish it at all. I'm sorry. Maybe I'll try another dish next time, but I hope the experience will be better.

  I just moved to Tennessee from.New York and the lack of food diversity in this state is absolutely appalling. As a Haitian from New York, Island Vibes has saved my life. Friendly service from my Jamaican West Indian family makes me feel at home in Tennessee .... and the food....Mon Dieu!

  I’ve been craving Jamaican food since 2001 when I was at Oco Rios. This place is a hidden gem. And super close to work. I got the Ox tail which is to die for. And also the Jerk. Chicken is absolutely amazing. Fresh, tender and so flavorful. I’m definitely going back this week. Great food! Super nice people.
