I stopped by to order food, but after standing there for some time with no service I just walked up to the women standing there having an inappropriate conversation. I tried to order with them, but they completely disregarded me and I was directed to use the kiosk. I didn’t get their names but they were definitely older ladies with short hair and after they rudely dismissed me I just left altogether.

The bread on the sandwich was as hard as a rock, so was the cinnamon roll. Overpriced and disappointing.

My experience was very pleasant with great food and wonderful staff! My daughter has a chronic health issue and we’ve been in the hospital a lot this year. Their soup helps her and they’ve been wonderful to us each and every time!

Had the best experience at this Panera! After an item was left out of my order, a staff member (assuming he was the manager), brought the missing part to the ER, with an added cookie! 10/10 service and went above and beyond.

So, as others have mentioned, this Panera is located inside a pediatric ER. My significant other didn’t realize that when she placed an online order, but I discovered it when I went to pick it up. It was a bit of a trek to go from the parking lot up to the location but nothing too taxing, plus the atrium nearby was a nice place to sit and wait.
About that wait though - it was extensive; nearly a half hour, not including the time it took to drive over to the place and walk from the car.
Here’s the other thing though - this was my first time at this location, and honestly my first time at a Panera in general. When I walked in it was like a mosh pit: people crammed everywhere, no discernible line, and nothing about how to grab a pickup order. Between having to walk through an ER and the utter chaos that I encountered in the store, I was seriously confused.
I went over to what appeared to be an open kitchen, with a couple of people making sandwiches and stuff, and I figured rather than wait on a long and almost impossible to detect line to get to the counter, I’d politely ask where I should look for a pickup order.
The response was unbelievably rude and condescending, and along the lines of, “sir I have 25 orders to deal with now, it’ll be ready at some point”. Not what I asked!
Also, and this is the most important thing really - I’m in a damn children’s hospital. You don’t know why I’m there. In fact, odds are if you ARE there you’re not having a great day (for reasons that generally, in most cases, are far more dire and go far beyond this specific "I'm part of a childless couple who accidentally placed an online order here and had to walk a lot” reason, too). Maybe some kindness to the clientele would be nice, not just in general but especially considering the setting.
Bad experience all around, and a terrible introduction to Panera.
