After three nights in Nashville, I decided to stay close to my hotel and eat at Oak. I was greeted nicely and quickly sat at a table in the bar. Service and attention from Michael was outstanding and then it wen downhill. I ordered steak tar tar, crab cakes and lobster Mac and cheese. Tar tar was on point l. When the crab cakes were so heavily sauced you couldn’t taste the crab, the lobster Mac was good but one of the pieces of lobster was bad. I could tell when I took the first bite, the bite we have all had when seafood is bad. i immediately felt sick like I was going to revisit my dinner. I quietly asked for the manager, explained the issue, and made it very clear I wasn’t looking for her to comp my meal. She quickly swept the food away, brought me a check with no charge so I could tip my server and then told me she hoped I felt better! I was so stunned at the comment, I felt perfectly fine walking in, I felt bad because the seafood was bad. She quickly said everyone else is eating our food implying that I was the problem. Horrible table side manner. Not understanding the situation, and not taking the time to “hear” me. I’ve eaten at Eddie v’s the Palm and a couple of other great restaurants in this town in this trip. I would strongly recommend you stay away from the Oak steakhouse. You would be better getting burger at McDonalds where you expect to leave with an upset stomach.

All I have to say is WOW! Food was absolutely excellent. Very tasty and cooked to perfection. However, the food is not what is to be bragged about regardless of how good it is. Our server, Lindsey, was hands down the best server I have ever had in my life. She was knowledgeable, funny, personable and just all things amazing. We came in with a large group and she just took the most amazing care of us. If you come to this restaurant, ask for Lindsey and you will not be disappointed! Thank you for the most exceptional experience! You deserve a raise!!❤️

We are from Raleigh NC and frequent the Oak Steakhouse near us for special occasions. Our family took a vacation to Nashville to celebrate my wife's birthday and decided to keep the tradition going by celebrating here! Oak has done something special, they have created a consistent experience across their locations. The food was amazing where you could order something familiar or try something new that maybe is unique to the area. The staff here is personable and ready to make recommendations and give honest opinions. Lindsey, our server was so friendly and made us feel right at home immediately. All of her recommendations were home runs and we're glad we went with them.
Dining with young ones can sometimes be challenging but Oak makes every attempt to offer something they would enjoy. I have found this to be true at both locations.
We love Oak and will continue to visit. The food is great, but the thing that will keep us coming back is the experience and getting to know the fine people that work there!
P.S You can valet for free at the Westin as long as you are dining at Oak!
