About

Barbecue Restaurant
At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

Really friendly, clean, no lines...but the food was really just ok. Except the banana pudding. That was excellent. Only one type of bbq sauce. The brisket was kinda fatty and not as good as I have had.

Was greeted upon arrival and explained the process for ordering. Ordered at thw counter and was given a number to take to the table. Found open seating with no issues. Food was very good. Worth the trip. Great atmosphere.

The food here is very tasty. We had the burnt ends, spicy pulled pork and Nashville sausage. Everything was amazing, but I was so impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the manager/owner here. He showed a lot of care for us enjoying our meal and I appreciated him stopping by to speak with us.

Yum yum & yum. Met some clients here for a dinner on Sunday. The food is always delicious, didn't have to wait too long for it to come out. The vibe was perfect and the biggest bonus of all for Nashville- validated parking for 1.5 hours if you park behind the restaurant and use their QR code inside. Will be back!

Edley’s 12 South honestly deserves every bit of praise. The staff was amazing — so friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Even though they were busy, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and that we were happy with our food. You can really feel that they care about their customers. The food was incredible! Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The brisket was tender, the sides were delicious, and the whole place just has a great atmosphere. Definitely one of the best BBQ spots in Nashville — can’t wait to come back!
