At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.
Overall, customers praised the BBQ for its smokiness and flavor, particularly highlighting the brisket and ribs as standout items, though some noted inconsistencies in quality.

Traveling through Nashville and this place came highly recommended. Maybe my expectations were too high? I certainly now need to question the judgement of those that recommended it.
Ribs, corn bread and baked beans were excellent. Well cooked and full of flavor.
The green beans simmered/cooked for far too long. They were a flavorous mush reminiscent of elementary cafeteria food.
You don’t get any choice on the brisket of moist or lean. I received a very lean, overly dry, and non tender serving of brisket. The brisket was sub par for any average BBQ joint. Anywhere in the country. It was terrible for Nashville standards. Very disappointing.
They also add barbecue sauce to your meat entree whether you ask for it or not. I would have preferred not yo have any sauce added to my food. Even though they added the unasked for bbq sauce, it did little to help the toughness, dryness, and flavorlessness of the brisket.
Do they have different cooks preparing the food? They should have whomever made the ribs give some attention to the brisket.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you order. My suggestion, stick with the ribs and avoid the brisket

This was my first time to Edley’s, coming highly recommended from multiple friends prior to our visit to Nashville.
SO many things on the menu sounded good, and I was having trouble making up my mind when it was time to order. The folks at the counter engaged me and took their time with me and helped me choose what they felt would be the most enjoyable items for my experience.
Christy was so kind to continue to check on me and my party, and made our experience very memorable, not to mention every single item of food was delicious.
I will confidently suggest this place to others, and cannot wait to return on our next trip to Nashville!

Oh my gosh. First time here. we had incredible burnt ends and grits and smoked turkey and the most incredible baked beans and happy hour drinks. Had a bartender who never drank in his life. Everything was absolutely fabulous. The drinks he made us were quite delicious. Loved the creaminess of the grits. Burnt ends were unique. I wish there were a little more on the plate however. Actually ordered the baked beans twice because they disappeared so fast. The smoked turkey was moist and so delicious. Even without putting any type of sauce on it. Great job guys!

Edley’s Bar-B-Que is hands-down one of the best BBQ spots I’ve been to! The food was incredible — the smoked meats were tender and packed with flavor, and the portions were generous. The pulled pork and brisket were melt-in-your-mouth good, and the sides (especially the mac and cheese and cornbread) were the perfect complement.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming — perfect for hanging out with friends or family. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. You can tell they really care about quality and customer experience.
It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back the next day. Great food, great service, and true Southern hospitality. If you love BBQ, you have to give Edley’s a try!

It was our first time in TN and our first time to Edly's. Boy oh boy! You don't want to miss out on this place and their food! The BBQ fries....delicious! The pulled pork sandwich....delicious! The mac n cheese....delicious! The burnt ends....HEAVEN!!! These bits of smoked brisket literally melt in your mouth. Little morsels of delightfulness in each mouth watering bite. We had to go back for a 2nd time before we flew home. We literally searched the web to find a place that serves burnt ends near our home. We found a few places but I doubt it will be the same. Edly's has set the bar very high. Go to Edly's. Get the burnt ends. You will not be disappointed. The staff was great, the atmosphere was great, the food was out fast and hot. If we are ever back in the area again, we will definitely be making a stop here 100%! Sara in the bar was amazing!
