At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.
The BBQ is generally praised for its flavor and tenderness, though some customers noted inconsistencies with dryness and temperature.
Service
Staff, particularly Chuck, received high praise for their friendliness and attentiveness, although there were instances of poor service reported.
Atmosphere

Order Issues
There were complaints about order mix-ups and long wait times for both dine-in and takeout.

Had Edley’s Bar-B-Que during our stay. We went back the second time as we liked it so much. Unfortunately there are none where we live in Canada. Brisket was amazing, ribs were awesome, Mac and cheese was awesome and I also read a good review about the banana pudding which I agree also is awesome. I didn’t personally like the baked beans as much which I usually enjoy baked beans, so not sure if it was just that batch or just not my type of flavour, worth a try though. Chicken fingers were also awesome for the kids and fries. Highly recommend this restaurant, staff were all friendly.

Pork was tough, chicken was tender, brisket was driest I’ve ever had. Corn bread was great, but mac and cheese was cold. Everything was seasoned perfectly, but given half the food was not great I won’t be back.

Very rude service, I'm a Uber pick up person has to be the rudest establishment I've ever encountered. She was looking at me as I waited, she was unhelpful, and it turned into me not getting customers order which was 92.00 and they still viewed her as being right. She was totally wrong be careful she is the type to do something to your good very rude individual. Manager not right either.

I've been in Nashville for over 7 years now and had set my favorite Nashville BBQ to one spot, then I had Edley's. Wow! Blows my favorite place out of the water. The pulled pork is moist, and perfectly smoked / cooked. Gotta get the slaw on top. Add the sauce and *Boom*, best Nashville BBQ hands down. Wow!

I came in and ordered a pretty good brisket sandwich. The mac and cheese was good, but the baked beans and potato salad were lacking.
It was about 25 minutes before closing, and I was on my last few bites. I still had a drink to finish. I never stay past closing anywhere and am always considerate. While I was still eating, the staff began loudly slamming chairs onto tables and stacking them without cleaning the tables first. Sage was very nice, but her coworker clearly did not want us there. They even brought a large trash can up near us, suddenly turned the music up very loud, and employees were twerking in the background while watching us. It was a weird experience, for sure.
That said, the sandwich was good.
