About

Barbecue Restaurant
At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

The food was awesome. I was not a big fan of awkwardly standing around the bar waiting to give my order to the bartender. The atmosphere was typical for a BBQ restaurant, nothing fancy but nice. This is arguably the best BBQ in Nashville.

Your ribs are slipping in quality and literally slippery. Are you putting them in a sous vide? Though very tender there is no bark. Guessing they were hardly touched by flame. I'd expect that at Chili's not here. This place is still near to my heart. I'll be back.

The BBQ is amazing. Tender, fall apart meat. Even the turkey! Sauces are great. Corn bread is great. The sides are to die for and the desserts are great as well. Honestly beats any BBQ at home. Next time I’m in Nashville, I’ll be back!

Overrated. Brisket was mid. Dry in comparison to the alternatives. Sides were also just mediocre. Ribs were solid but one thing I'd definitely recommend is to not slather the ribs and brisket in bbq sauce. Should be on the side. Give people the option.

Dry, chewy, and luke warm. My experience here was disappointing, overall. I visited at about 1pm on a Thursday. The bartender who takes all orders seemed rushed and I couldn't tell if he was talking to me, people behind me, or others in the area. The atmosphere is what I describe as typical BBQ joint. It was clean and plenty of seating available. It had a large bar area and although I didn't drink beer this day I did appreciate the large selection of drafts on tap. Food did come out rather swiftly. However, the food was particularly disappointing. I ordered a rib and brisket combo with baked beans and cole slaw as sides. The cole slaw was good. The beans were good - but lukewarm. The ribs were also barely warm and not at all tender but instead were what I describe as chewy. The brisket was extremely dry. I smothered it in bbq sauce in attempt to make it consumable by me but that didn't overcome the "dry as chalk" sensation.
