I find a lot of my food prices are typically lower than the previously preferred grocery store - Kroger... the staff there seem to always be pleasant which gives me that "hometown" feel. And I LOVE that they stay open til 11, although I do wish they were a 24 hours operation like the Gallatin location. Maybe someday...
Sincerely,

Shopping at this food lion feels like entering a social experiment to see how long a human can survive on vibes alone. Nothing is where it should be. The aisles are arranged by ✨mystery✨ and ✨despair✨. It was packed too because of a winter storm and everyone was panicking.
The produce section looks like it just got back from a long tour of duty. I picked up an avocado that aged five years in my hand. The bread aisle was somehow both empty and overwhelming.
Every cart has at least one wheel that screams for help. The self-checkout machines demand attention like needy toddlers and still accuse you of stealing. There is never an employee around unless you don’t need one.
Prices are high, the lighting is aggressively depressing, and the overall atmosphere suggests this store is being run by ghosts who hate groceries.
I went in for milk. I left with trust issues, a receipt longer than my future, and no milk, didn’t even check the bread aisle.
Will return against my will.

Employees are usually nice but this store is managed horribly!! I am all for not having self checkout but having only one register open during peak hours of the day is ridiculous! I could understand if it was a one off thing but every time I come here it's like this. I counted 17 people in line and there are employees standing around doing nothing. I got so tired of waiting I put everything back and the cashier was still on the same customer from 5 mins ago. Not to mention this store is filthy. It's sad when even Kroger and Walmart are better than this. Do better food lion!
