  Opening night at Bacco was full of hustle, performance and personality from Virginia the GM, to the Table Captains, the Sommelier to the waitstaff. It’s an elegant, full service, fine dining Italian steakhouse. Portions are larger than small plates. The bread service is intimidatingly large, but it’s a puff pastry, served with whole garlic cloves, oil and basalmic. We enjoyed the Copper River Salmon in a lightly citrus sauce, the Spaghetti al Pomodoro served al dente, and the Pan-Roasted Alaskan Halibut that was crunchy on the outside and still soft and tender inside. Sides were the Pearl Onions, sweet and unbelievable; and Whipped Polenta. Dessert was the Tiramisu which came in a large pan, and could have had more Grand Marnier. There is a full bar and expansive wine list; the Espresso Martini was not very good. There is a children’s menu too. Parking at the hotel valet is validated.
