Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went thru drive-thru had the original whataburger and the whataburger Jr with fries. Neither sandwich looked like what was on the menu board and we had to throw away our fries because they were mostly raw. So disappointed.

We go to this location almost daily and have never had this BAD of an experience. The Chicken tender meal comes in a box. But tonight they decided to throw it in a bag where the gravy opened in the bag and all over the chicken and broke the back. I understand that “maybe” they were out of boxes but take the time to make sure the lid is on the gravy not upside down and dumped at the bottom of the bag and all over the food. The bag fell out by the time I made it back to his job, which is less than a mile from this location. Really sucks this is the only thing open in the area at 2am for me to take my fiancé lunch. Guess I’m start cooking him lunch at home which sucks because the Chicken tenders are his favorite and tonight was a huge disappointment for him tonight! This happened 10/14/2025 @ 2:10AM.

My nephew just came to town for the weekend to take care of his injured father who just got in a really awful semi truck wreck. So we decided to treat him to whataburger for dinner. ( he’s from a small town and has never tried it ) he was so excited! We ordered our dinner and they left out a burger. Was disappointed because this was our fav whataburger and we get dinner from here often and they have never messed up our order before. We drove back around to tell them they left out a burger and the manager comes and accuses us of lying? Says she went and watched the cameras and that we lied to her. I have never had an experience like this at any fast food restaurant in the boro! We showed her our bag of food and assured her we didn’t lie about missing 1 cheese burger? Crazy when you pay almost 40$ for food you don’t even get. Wont be back! I see why this place is empty it’s always starts with the management. She was so rude to us! Right off the bat accusing us of lying!
