Dont bother trying to go to this place during any peak periods. Almost half of the stalls are either order via the sonic app or park and eat with no way to order. I am not installing an app to order a coke and a corn dog and every other spot will be filled up. Further, if you do happen to get a spot where you can order, its a 20-30 minute wait.
I think the wait issue applies to almost all "fast" food places anymore but here and McD is the worst by far. You can go into a sit down restaurant cheaper and quicker.
Picture this. 3 kids coming back from the park. First order, kids chicken tenders...... out of ALL chicken products....let the crying begin..... ok no problem, we get other items and place our order.......20 minutes later I ring the bell to make sure it is at least being worked. They were polite and said it would be right out. 5 more min. Order comes out and we are missing a kids meal. Another 5 min. Kids meal comes out. By then the foods cold. Finally pull out to realize there are no straws. Now the kids cant have their drink after playing at the park... This was the first time to a sonic in years and it reminded me why. I know they are mostly teenagers, but this is seeming like a constant issue based on reviews and these problems are likely due to management issues. We will pass right by next time we are at the park and go somewhere else. 2 stars instead of 1 because the poor car hop had to run aeound repeating "I'm sorry" the whole time we waited.
The menu/payment screen display at the stalls is usually not working. No matter if I use the app or order there the food has never been hot. I pulled in one Saturday at 11am hit the button waited 5 minutes for them to finally come on and say they were not taking any orders.
If i could give this place a 0 i would, it takes 45 minutes every time, the food is wrong or burnt, even just a simple task like sauce takes 10 minutes even when there’s 2 other cars. I’ve just given up on this place.

We visit this location often and overall have a good experience. The food is consistently fresh, and the drinks are always spot on—exactly what you expect from Sonic. The staff is also friendly and does their best, which we appreciate.
That said, it’s pretty common for our order to come out incomplete. Almost every visit, something small is missing—whether it’s a side, a sauce, or part of a combo. It’s never a huge issue, but it does happen often enough to be noticeable.
If the team can improve on order accuracy, this location would easily be a top-notch experience. We’ll definitely keep coming back and are hopeful to see that consistency improve!
