- NCnatasha clarkMar 4, 20261.0Visited Subway to order a Protein Pocket as part of starting a health journey for medical reasons, and the experience was disappointing. I was told I couldn’t substitute lettuce for spinach (even though lettuce isn’t a protein — and the lettuce available was brown). I was also told jalapeños couldn’t be removed, which is frustrating for anyone with gastrointestinal medical issues. The suggested alternative was a peppercorn ranch wrap, which didn’t make sense since I don’t eat ranch. If you’re marketing something as a “Protein Pocket,” there should be flexibility with veggies and toppings — especially for customers with dietary needs. Definitely room for improvement.

I had not been here in over five years definitely before the pandemic. I'll be going back because the salad was good and a good price.
