It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Tamika always helps me at the counter and makes ordering easy! My food is always delicious and just the way I order it. She is a true asset and fantastic representative for Whataburger! She’s as sweet as the apples pies!

    I had a disappointing experience at this Whataburger. The manager came to the window wearing gloves, took my money, handled my food, and gave me my change all with the same gloves. That’s a major red flag for food safety. Then, when I tried my fries, they were old and tasted awful. The manager offered to cook fresh ones after I mentioned it, but honestly, it should’ve been done right the first time. Got he refund and left.

    Great food. Not able to drive thru after 12am with taller vehicle. Parking lot is only made for smaller vehicles. Lobby closes at 12am. Went to McDonald's instead. Next day hit up whataburger for that Bacon Wrangler Double cheeseburger that is still available! So good.
