Not too bad tonight. Didn't have to wait 45 minutes and they only forgot one burger and gave us honey mustard instead of ranch but still better than the other times I've been there.

Service was awful. An order taker (a guy) took my order at the drive-thru speaker around 9:45AM on 11/22/2025 (a Saturday morning). I gave him an app code, which he said didn't go through. I had no problem with that.
Here is the problem. When I got to the payment window, I attempted to submit another app code to apparently the same guy (who was also cashiering as well), and the guy simply told me that he couldn't take any app codes at the payment window. They only take codes at the speaker, which I definitely know is a lie. He also mentioned that I was going to hold up their drive-thru line in the process. The code would have allow me to get a sausage egg mcgriddle sandwich for free off of the app (since I had enough points for the free item). I also attempted to purchase a big breakfast with hotcakes & steak and a chip ahoy frappe with the sausage egg mcgriddle. The guy tried to make yours truly pay for the sausage egg mcgriddle that was suppose to be free with the app code. He apparently didn't attempt (with managerial permission) to do a hard promo on that item that was suppose to be free.
Because of his arrogant behavior in this matter of not wanting to modify the order, yours truly decided it wasn't worth the time to explain anything to him or his manager(s), so I just drove off, went to another nearby location, and got much better service there.
In case anyone is wondering, yes, yours truly is currently a crew member at another McDonald's location in the area, and I mostly work the same position too. If I was doing his job, I would have taken the time to enter the new app code at the window. If the app code still didn't work, then hard promo the item. That minor modification on the order at the window would have taken just a few seconds to do versus everything else the crew member chose to do instead. Yours truly do this same job at another location with a different owner. So, I'm not making up these suggestions. Every order taker/ cashier should always be prepared for possible modification of orders, and not be upset as this guy was.
I don't tell customers we only take codes at the speaker, and that order modification can't be made at the payment window. It appears the order taker/cashier had no intent on modifying the order ticket when he had the access do so. Because of that, their store lost some business due to his arrogance. Therefore, my order likely became the store's spoilage, which runs up the store's food cost as a result. A manager eventually had to come to the payment window to overring my order, which still, LOL, I guess held up the drive-thru line.
Yours truly got much better treatment when he placed in the same order at another nearby location within a five-minute commute. Yours truly has worked in this business a long time and truly understand the professionalism of this job when serving our paying customers. That guy just didn't have any professionalism at all. Yours truly also has a college degree in the field of this business. To whomever currently manages, supervises, or owns this location, please address this matter ASAP. Thank you!!!
