Huey’s has been bringing Blues, Brews, & Burgers in Memphis since 1970. Perhaps the most unique characteristics of our locations are the graffiti walls, hometown feel and local live music. Our World Famous Huey burgers have been voted Best Burger in Memphis since 1984. Sundays at Huey’s are traditionally known for live music, including jazz, blues and even a little rock from local and regional groups. At the example of the late Thomas Boggs, Huey’s former owner, giving back to the community is one of our top priorities. We are proud to have donated many hours, monetary support and services for countless community organizations, schools, and nonprofits over the years.

I asked if they could make a patty melt mash thin instead of the thick pattie. I was told no by the cashier. Also ask could they use a beyond pattie and chop it up for philly cheesesteak but was told no again by the cashier that kitchen would not do it. Usually other restaurants don't mind substituting vegetarian options. So I just settle for onion rings but they wasn't good. Huey's usually have good onion rings.

Might I add, I called twice. before I could order... someone answered and apparently couldn't hear me. So I called again, and gave her our order: turkey burger w/NO seasoning, and sweet potato fries, NO seasoning, with lettuce only. And a smash burger NO onions. She informed me that it would be ready in 15 - 20 minutes. We parked in the curbside parking area, and called and informed Huey's that we were there, she asked for the car make. After we had been there 28 minutes, I went inside...(point of interest) person that answered, "are YOU Not able to come inside"???? Why was this asked for curbside!!! And this isn't the first time they have asked if I could come inside ...I'm handicapped, by the way! So going inside isn't very easy, at ALL. After 32 minutes a female comes out with about 8 orders ... waited on 2 people before she asked me for the name on order. I asked to check the order and it was INCORRECT... everything was on the turkey burger, most importantly it was Seasoned!!! When I said to the person ringing me up she said we'll make you another one. I said NO thank you, I've already waited 32 minutes!!!!!! She began to make the excuse that the person who took the order was a "New" hire .... ??? What ??? then ...began to speak to me in a Very Loud voice, and I asked her why was she speaking to in that manner ... she lowered her voice and called for a manager. Manager said she would take the turkey burger off and I would "Only" pay for the smashed burger. Like she was doing me a avor.... I really love the Memphis downtown location and the Southave, MS location ... They are very professional and obviously trained correctly!!! I left there disappointed and hungry!!!!!! Show less
