I live in Alabama and visit Memphis occasionally and I make it a point to stop by every town I am in town. I found a spot that makes soup but it’s far from this! I enjoyed it and will see you guys next time I’m in Memphis!

Everything was great! I ordered the fajita nachos with shrimp,bell peppers and onions. It was bursting with flavor. Everything was tender and fresh. We ordered the daily specials which was the 2for1 small margaritas. We could only drink one! A time was had. Wheew. I will be back. And please ask for Mario! Service was a 10out10! We went from 4:30pm-5:45pm.

I had a disappointing experience at Happy Mexican due to poor customer service. I ordered a watermelon peach drink, but the waitress brought me a watermelon fruit punch instead. I didn’t want to complain, so I decided to try it anyway—but it was honestly undrinkable. The drink sat on the table for over an hour untouched.
My sister eventually stopped the waitress and explained that I didn’t like the drink. Instead of offering a solution or showing any consideration, the waitress responded that since we had been sitting there for over an hour, I should have said something immediately. The manager echoed the same response.
The issue wasn’t just the incorrect drink—it was the lack of empathy and customer care. It’s not what was said, but how it was handled. A little understanding or an effort to make it right would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen

I was really disappointed with the customer service at Happy Mexican. The staff was rude and dismissive, which made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Edgar took a receipt out my hand and ripped it up . Very rude .
Customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately this visit missed the mark. I hope management addresses this so future customers have a better experience.
