Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers reported inconsistent food quality, with many experiencing cold or poorly prepared items, while others praised the taste of specific burgers.

I had never had a whataburger before. Got the Monterey jack burger it was phenomenal with a prickly pear refresher as a drink whic was also amazing. Pleasantly surprised by the fries. Definitely get the jalapeño ranch to dip in its worth the dollar!!!!

This is a new restaurant and it looks like this employees weren't train on how to make whataburgers correctly, or manager doesnt care either way. The Floors were dirty. When we walked in there were maybe 2 customers inside. Shortly after a family of like 12 walked in and the restaurant looks full as it should. The Food done incorrectly I ordered a jalapeño & cheese burger add jalapeño monterrey jack cheese. Well no Monterrey Jack cheese. My son is law order something with bacon and no bacon. My daughter pull a thing small hair from the fries, oh and fries were cold. Anyways the reason why is so difficult to go out and eat. The walls and ceilings look clean. Restrooms NOT clean

Well, I placed my order and according to it, it was supposed to be ready between 6:05–6:15 pm. I arrived at 6:40 pm, asked about my order, and was completely ignored. About 10 minutes passed, I asked again, and they just told me to wait.
My order finally came out, but even though I placed it at 5:40 pm and arrived at the location at 6:40 pm, my order should have already been more than ready — but it wasn’t. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes to get my food.
This was my first time ordering from this place, and I honestly think it will be the last. Very poor organization and communication.
