Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers reported long wait times for their orders, often exceeding 20 minutes, even when the restaurant was not busy.
Food Quality
While some customers praised the food as delicious and fresh, others experienced cold or incorrect orders, leading to mixed reviews on food quality.
Customer Service
Customer service was inconsistent; some staff were described as friendly and attentive, while others were noted as rude or inattentive.
Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the restaurant varied, with some customers noting clean facilities while others reported dirty dining areas.
Overall Experience
Overall experiences were mixed, with some customers expressing satisfaction and others vowing not to return due to poor service or food quality.

1st time here what an awesome place! Hamburgers 🍔 were the best cooked just right and hot. The ff were great. The vanilla and chocolate milk shakes were nice and thick. Thank you for the best experience ever ...the girl at the window was very pleasant as well. Great service! The prices weren't bad at all.

Absolutely horrible, so happened to pass by this location last night and figured hey I've never eaten there they have only been open a couple months let's try it out. The inside of the restaurant is already filthy with stains all over the floor does not look appealing at all. The men's restroom was disgusting definitely very surprising for such a well-known name and them being open such a short amount of time. Then to the food after ordering it took us a little over 10 minutes to get our takeout I ordered the double burger meal and she got the spicy chicken meal. The fries were not good not fresh at all we threw them away, about 20 minutes after eating my food I started feeling sick. By the time we got home I had to head straight for the bathroom, then in the middle of the night the misses woke up throwing up and sick as well. I would not recommend anyone to go here and if this is all you have to offer Whataburger then Culver's is going to eat you alive.

The food was definitely fried in old oil. The service was super slow and some of the employees were on their cell phones instead of helping waiting customers.

I’m counting calories. And come off as difficult when ordering. They were polite. Carrying.even took special care of my now open face sandwich. And sent me with a fork and knife combo. Didnt even ask for. It. Sauce on the side. 10/10. The best experience I’ve had at a Whataburger, and they are my favorite burger spot. So I had to say thank you some how

This place is run by children. They don’t care about customers, but they charge you premium pricing for garbage service.
