  We visited Wayback Burgers in Lakeland, Tennessee, a suburb just outside Memphis, after it was recommended to us by a local friend. We’ve had Wayback Burgers before in Dallas, so we were familiar with the brand and had good expectations coming in. We ordered four cheesy burgers, and the meat quality was very good. The burger patties were tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The burgers were definitely cheesy, and the buns were turned inside out, which I understand is part of the Cheesy Burger style. It was different, but it worked. For sides, we had tater tots and fries, both of which were solid and well cooked. We also ordered fried pickles, which the kids absolutely loved. The chili cheese dog was another highlight — flavorful, filling, and done right. One of the best parts of Wayback Burgers, especially this location, is that it’s halal. That alone makes it a go to spot for us and many others. Restaurants that choose to offer halal options truly help serve the entire community, and that effort is always appreciated. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience was pleasant from start to finish. The sauces were good across the board, and the Wayback Golden Sauce really stood out. Overall, this was a great experience and lived up to our previous visits at other Wayback locations. I would definitely recommend the Lakeland Wayback Burgers if you’re in the area and looking for a solid halal burger spot.

  Absolutely delicious. Fancier Freddy's and Steak and Shake. Orders a kids meal, A.1. Steakhouse burger(2nd photo) and cheese curds. Lots of flavor and good texture in the A.1. Burger. Also: try the Strawberry hibiscus lemonade! The store was also very clean. Definitely will be back!

  Great Food... Mobile ordering is Great, AS LONG AS THEY DO THE order the way you order it. This in not the first time it has been messed up. Check you orders before you leave

  We placed a delivery order and it was marked as delivered, however we never received it. We contacted the store and the young lady said there was nothing they could do. The order was placed via the Wayback website. I asked the foreign manager what her name was and she stated it's only "Susan" and refused to give me her name. The young black girl who answered was extremely rude as well. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the fact that they think they can just keep the funds for an order that was not delivered.
