Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DKDenise Knebel1 day ago2.0First time eating at whataburger. Walked in and no one was at the counter. A man was already waiting in line. Several minutes passed and finally some one came out. The order display rotates. Tough to figure it out. Finally order and get a number for the table. Meanwhile the same lady taking the orders now has to run and make the milkshakes. I go to get an unsweetened tea and it's empty. Next we find a seat. The floor hadn't been swept nor the tables wiped down. Very unkempt atmosphere. The food was nothing to write home about. I will be crossing whataburger off my list.

- RDRobert Darket6 days ago2.0We ordered on the kiosk which asks you to input a tent number. We had to go to the counter to get a tent. The self service drink area had no iced tea available and no napkins in the entire facility, so they tore off pieces of paper towel and gave that to us. When our order was ready they called out loud the tent number rather than delivering our order to the table. So what is the purpose of a tent number? The fee for parking at this location was $9.99! Not going back!

She told us she is done serving anyone else because she's tired and too many people are coming in. She yelled at everyone in line to leave. Someone came up after he had already ordered and asked too add something to his order and she said "absolutely not." She had a red/pink ponytail. She was soooo hateful. We will never return to whataburger again. Imagine walking into a restaurant excited to try it for the first time, and being scoffed at and treated like the dirt on her shoe.
