- SHShouq HMSep 19, 20251.0I had a very unpleasant experience at this Subway inside Walmart in Knoxville. The staff member was extremely rude and acted in a racist manner toward us because we are Arabs. She spoke harshly, made inappropriate gestures, and made us feel very uncomfortable. The store’s hygiene is poor — it was dirty, there were flies, and they didn’t even have barbecue sauce. I also noticed one cheese slice that looked old and discolored compared to fresh ones. When I politely asked her to replace it, she responded very meanly. I do not recommend this location due to the unsanitary conditions and the discriminatory behavior of the staff.

First of all, the counter hadn't been cleaned in so long that mustard had dried onto it, and lettuce was turning brown around the cutting boards. The banana pepper container had jalapeños and pickles in it. I ordered a meatball sub and a spicy Italian, both toasted. The meatballs on the sub were cold, even after having the sub toasted. I wish I had read the reviews to this location before ordering here. The only two people working at this location are in a relationship, and they got angry when I asked for a refund and refused to give me one... This is the first time I have had a negative experience at any Subway. Just gross.. Don't make the same mistake I did. Go literally anywhere else....
