Has to be the worst sonic in Knoxville. My hamburger was cold. They gave me a large dr pepper with such a big chunk of ice in it i couldn't get the straw in. So I press the stall button to tell them I want another one for them to tell me to pull around to the drive thru and they will fix it. So I have to go wait behind other cars for my drink instead of them bringing it out.

I live a couple of blocks away from this restaurant and I've tried to give them more than one opportunity for Speedy service. Today I waited in excess of 20 minutes for a pretzel and a sweet tea that I ordered online and came to the mobile pickup stall number two to get my order. After 20 minutes I knocked on the door and asked them where my order was and I was told that it was on the way. The app clearly states that it's a 5-minute wait to pick up an order from the time we park to pick it up. After a few more minutes a staff member came outside with multiple orders on one tray and delivered them to each of four different cars. This is a consistent service failure at this location. I will purposely go out of my way to go to any other Sonic within a couple of miles of my house in order to not have to wait 20 minutes for such a small order. I will also be contacting ownership and Sonic corporate office for compensation. Every time I've asked why things are so slow, they are telling me that the drive-thru window is way too busy and they are understaffed. Management needs to fix this. Every time I have come here I see employees outside smoking at the tables, standing outside the building smoking, they move very slow at this location and it's just a bunch of lies and excuses on why they are so lazy at their job.
