  Newk’s is a lunch staple! I’ve never had a bad experience. So glad they opened back up!

  Have been going for yesrs, all around the south. Particularly the locations in Louisiana and Mississippi, and quite a few things stand out. The food up here isn’t 4th class compared to the locations down south. When you order a black ane blue salad up here, they give you sliced roast beef, instead of cut up chunks of steak, like all the other locations. The skimp on everything under the sun, unlike the rest, who want you to have more and more, and give to much food. I ordered a southern salad tonight, that’s it, nothing crazy, and the picture below is how it came.the corporate office or franchise of Newks need to step, or it’s going to fail like th last time. Newks used to have a huge, amazing following in knoxville, and it has all but dies off thanks to bad and cheap franchisees.

  My whole family dined in for the first time on christmas eve lunch, and let me say, we loved our experience at newks. Never have I met such a joyful staff to be working on Christmas eve. Our pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and soups were all incredible. Everything was timely, and temperature correct. Chocolate cake was to die for… but I think what really highlighted our experience was the staff. Gabby and Ben are the best. Hands down. From the second we walked in they welcomed us with open arms and warmth, they made sure we had anything and everything we needed as well as making sure we were taking an advantage of discounts and menu prices for our large party. They were johnny on the spot, and a great team. From taking orders, serving food, working in the kitchen. It was truly a great experience at newks. I only wish we had cash to give them after service…The whole family is still talking about it hours later… Merry Christmas Newks. We will see you many more times next year!!!!

  When to pick up an order, there was made to sit 10 minutes and ignored when there was no business in there. And then was made to feel like I did something wrong because I was upset about the order being late. So I could deliver it on time. Where's place? I will never eat there because of the way I was treated and I was only picking up a delivery.

  So walked in today at 3:30pm With the wife , not a soul in the place except for whoever was in the kitchen area, you think if you hear a bell ring when you walk in there is a customer , wrong , tried the dumb kiosk to order didn’t recognize the half sandwich half soup meal, and still no one greeted us or even acknowledged there were customers in the place , well guess what ! Went to Parkside grill . Was GREETED by a person , was sat down and had an awesome meal with friendly staff , your loss Newks ! I have been going here since the 90’s and it’s sure not the same as it use to be . Good luck to you folks , I won’t be back
