  I really hate to complain about this restaurant because we do love their food. We eat here at least once a week but I’m not sure we will be back. Twice, our family of 5 (3 children) have waited over 1 hour to learn our order was never placed with the kitchen. The first time the owner offered 25% a future visit, which we declined to use. Today, after church, the exact same thing happened. We didn’t see our waitress for over 40 minutes. After over an hour of waiting on our food, we asked the hostess stand to please have our waitress come to our table. Another waitress came to our table who told us our order was never placed and she would be happy to take our order (free of charge). We declined and left. We checked in at 12:08pm, sat down 12:25pm and left at 1:40pm with no lunch. The first time, we were extremely understanding as this is a newer restaurant. This is mind blowing and inexcusable. For this to happen twice to the same family… maybe we should go play the lottery.

  I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, but this place was awesome! Our waitress was fantastic as well. The food was outstanding and I even had enough leftovers for a full second meal because the portions are quite large. We'll be back.

  Apparently the manager seats people who sign in after you sign in because they've been there before. Whether they've been there before or he knows them personally people should be seated according to arrival and sign in. Apparently this is not the case. Shame on the manager

  HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SEWER SMELL!!!!!!!! Took over an hour to get our table of 5's food. Plates came out 1 at a time with at least 10 minutes in-between. So we sat down & ordered all together, but didn't get to eat all together. I Will NOT be back! POORLY MANAGED restaurant!!! People please go back through & read the reviews. The reviews have always been bad service, over priced food. Bad Service has been since it's been open, owner has been aware & horrible service continues, so it's BAD OWNERSHIP/MANAGEMENT at this point, 2 mths is plenty of time to fix wait staff that doesn't ever come to the table to serve you. When i was there the women's restroom smelled like sewer so bad I threw up & had to leave to restaurant!!! Highly recommend not visiting!!!!

  Steer clear of The Toasted Yolk! Bad service, employees were slow and looked like they'd rather be somewhere (anywhere) else. Was told a dish came with sides but it did not. Food - out of several items on the menu (Fire Roasted Peach Cobbler French Toast and the chicken for Chicken and Waffles), made alternate selections only to find out they are out of one of these too. Order shrimp and grits with no cilantro, it came covered in it. I will say the waffle I had was very tasty, but not good enough to make up for the poor service and half a menu. I came for a toasted yolk and found a bad egg.
