  I order from here every other day normally, and during the ice storm, only every 2-3 days. I have also worked at McDonald’s before, so it’s not like I don’t understand. This McDonald’s needs to be closed. It is always painfully slow, and at times have had to just pull forward because no one was answering the speaker. Awhile back, I pulled up to the second window and asked if they were closed because I waited so long at the speaker. She said no and took my code for my online order. While I was waiting for my food, an employee at the back first window stuck her head out and hollered “You passed the first window!” So I hollered back “You weren’t there! I waited forever.” She hollered back, “I was here, but ok.” Now, for today’s incident, I placed an order tonight and pulled up to the speaker around 7:05 PM. I waited about 5 minutes thinking it’s just taking forever as usual, so I sit and wait. I know I saw people inside when I pulled around, so I’m wondering what’s going on? I pull up to the first window, no one there again. I pull up to the second window and see one person texting, two people talking, and one walk up from the back. There were at least 4 people in there. I knocked on the window, and they shouted through the closed window that they were closed and to just cancel my order. I go to try to do that, and it says sorry it can’t cancel my order because it’s already been started. I knocked on the window to show them again, and they said there’s nothing they can do and didn’t offer any other help or advice about how I was going to get my order cancelled and money back. I had to figure out on my own how to do it. I filled the form out online and sent a complaint in, and the money was refunded, but the whole thing was absolutely ridiculous. Why don’t online orders stop being available to place before they’re closed? Why weren’t temporary hours posted on the drive thru speaker? Why wasn’t anyone wearing their headset while they closed so they could tell people sitting and waiting that they’re closed? That’s what I did when I worked at McDonald’s. Why was the place closed just after 7 PM? The ice has been largely cleared, and the Henderson McDonald’s was open. The temperature only drops a degree or two in a two hour period. Why wasn’t this location or the one on North Highland open? It should at least be open until 8 or 9 so people can get their dinner. My son is autistic and has sensory issues and safe foods. McDonald’s nuggets are the only nuggets he will eat. I buy two 20 pieces every other day usually, and I know there are a lot of autistic kids like this. My son almost didn’t get his safe food because this location decided to close 4 hours early. But that’s ok, I took my money and gave it to the Henderson McDonald’s and will from here on out since this one is so poorly run.

  We came inside after the snow storm, and Ann and her team were working so hard. They were making sure everyone got what they needed and you could see how busy they were. We are thankful for you all!!! Wonderful team

  Tired of always coming to this store and it’s always some bs, why would y’all take my money on the app if y’all were not open. And since I can’t make another review for some reason there is a hair in my food absolutely disgusting and I’m a ginger so it’s not my hair
