walking into the store with a soaking wet floor I slid and laughed, no signs were out,we advised the female mopping to get wet floor signs and she did. She took our order and our money with gloves on. The cashier and the female cook told us they have no fries. I said there's no fries or none cooked? Because they are cooked fresh every time anyway, they both said sorry no fries. I said how long to get fries? I was told 10-15 minutes, ok that's fine we want fries with our burgers. I watched the female cashier wait on 2 other customers with same gloves, makes 3 milkshakes with same gloves and I'm not taking my eyes off her because she's also sticking those same gloved hands in a red bucket sitting on the counter clearly marked SANITIZER on the front and cleaning the machine I think the milkshake machine but I'm not sure.I watched in amazement as she squeezed out the Rag in the red bucket and went straight to the metal pan holding fresh fries we have waited 15 minutes for AND GRABS A HANDFUL WITH THE SAME GLOVED HAND. I immediately pointed and said out loud omg she just grabbed those fries with the same gloves she was sticking in the hand sanitizer! She got defensive, she said she only did it once. WHAT? I tell her she could make everyone really sick and she should know better working in food service. They seemed more upset that I had noticed that she never changed gloves than any concern someone could get sick. We asked for and received a refund for the fries. The female cashier is upset that my husband is schooling her about how dangerous cross contamination is and she Told my husband TO LEAVE "HER" STORE. If the cameras are checked I slide on the floor when I entered I laughed and advised about signs, I was nice about the 15 minute wait because they ran out of cut fries at 10:14 according to our receipt. The man who came in while this was going on said no he didn't want anything and left. The customer waiting with the 2 milkshakes immediately came to the counter and was also upset about the contaminated gloves. 3 customers disappointed by a severely under trained employee who should have apolized and shown remorse instead of defending her actions and acting like she owns the store. We kept our burgers but I couldn't enjoy it. Very disappointed by Amari E. and whoever is training the employees.Do better Five Guys. Hixson, Tn location.

Worst experience ever I will never visit this location ever again. Customers are always right when it comes to service, especially when it comes to some food that a customer is about to eat and they Are Allergic to certain foods

I truly just had one of the worst burgers of my life from this 5 guys. It had so much grease on it you could not taste anything else and it was so messy it was inedible. A waste of $20

The food was good service was also. The atmosphere I give a 2 because I hate trying to eat with someone inside the restaurant bumming money. Managers need to be more watchful.

The first time we ate at 5 Guys was in Washington DC. We decided on a burger, two large Cajun fries, and an unsweetened iced tea. When they handed us our order, I was convinced they had made a mistake. There were 3 bags, each the size of a grocery bag. Two bags were filled with their cajun fries and the third held the burger atop a pile of in the shell peanuts. (I had asked if they would mind if I tossed a few pranuts in a bag, I guess they didn't mind.) Luckily, the rooms we checked into each had a refrigerator and a microwave. This mass of food kept the pair of us fed for one meal a day for four days. When the Five Guys in Hixson opened, we were excited to order dinner there. We were not disappointed. We had learned that we only needed one order of large Cajun fries! The burger is two patties of meat made to order. They have a long list of things you can have on the burger. Another place says "have it your way" but at 5 Guys, you really get it your way. And they do have in the shell peanuts to keep you occupied while you wait for your order.
