- NCNo CommentDec 19, 20255.0The first time we ate at 5 Guys was in Washington DC. We decided on a burger, two large Cajun fries, and an unsweetened iced tea. When they handed us our order, I was convinced they had made a mistake. There were 3 bags, each the size of a grocery bag. Two bags were filled with their cajun fries and the third held the burger atop a pile of in the shell peanuts. (I had asked if they would mind if I tossed a few pranuts in a bag, I guess they didn't mind.) Luckily, the rooms we checked into each had a refrigerator and a microwave. This mass of food kept the pair of us fed for one meal a day for four days. When the Five Guys in Hixson opened, we were excited to order dinner there. We were not disappointed. We had learned that we only needed one order of large Cajun fries! The burger is two patties of meat made to order. They have a long list of things you can have on the burger. Another place says "have it your way" but at 5 Guys, you really get it your way. And they do have in the shell peanuts to keep you occupied while you wait for your order.

If I spend $60 on a burger and fries I expect a half a bag of fries when I order a larger fry. The past 4-5 times I have hardly gotten a cup full at most. The only reason I use five guys is bc of the abundance of fries and they are good. Other than that I can get a better burger and fries anywhere else for the same price or less actually. I’m over it I was hoping it was just staff or whatever but it’s been 4 times now. I’m done. I can go spend $60+ so Where else for 4 burgers and fries that is a lot better than this.
