When I asked about a discount, no one could answer me. I asked if Five Guys had an app, and the employees said they didn’t know. The manager finally came out, but he wasn’t helpful either. He told me there was an app, but didn’t seem familiar with it, and when I asked how to get the promo code, he said, “I’m not sure, maybe they email it to you.” So here I am, in a hamburger restaurant on National Cheeseburger Day, and not a single person knew about the promotion. I walked away paying full price for my burger, which honestly defeats the whole purpose of the holiday. If your staff doesn’t even know about your promotions, or how your app works, that’s a problem. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend Five Guys.
