In my humble opinion, this place is a little overrated. I found the food to be meh. Nothing was particularly note worthy. Our service was good, but not exceptional. This was my first time at Carrabba's. It won't be high on my list of places to return to.

Sat at the bar for more than 5 minutes before a very dry service member came to ask me what I wanted to drink, but had not provided a menu. Noticing that there were two different margaritas on the menu I proceeded to let her know I wanted to try them both. First was the Amalfi margarita which tasted just like any cheap one from a mexican restaurant. For lunch I ordered a caesar salad and main dish lobster ravioli. The caesar salad only had two crumbs of croutons and the ravioli were cold. Once finished the server offered the dessert menu so I guess she forgot about me wanting to try the other margarita; I reminded her and she proceeded to prepare the prickly pear one. This one is much better! BTW, neither the salad plate nor the main dish plate has been picked up and are just sitting to my left on the bar top. “You wanna take a look at the dessert menu?” was next so I said “yes, let me take a look at that!” and decided on the sogno di cioccolata (chocolate dream) and an old fashioned. Did she ask me if I wanted my old fashioned smoked?, nope!!! They could have charged more!!!! Oh and the old fashioned was served with a wedge of orange not an orange peel!!!! The chocolate dream was okay. Let’s say I’ve had better dreams!!!!! Total $79.45.

My server was great, the other stuff such as bread is also great. My chicken parm was raw. Manager gave me free dessert and took the chicken off. Kind of undermined the fact I had consumed raw chicken. Should’ve voided the entire meal and said at least my bad. Arguably if someone famous at raw chicken they would’ve discount the cost of the restaurant to them. I’m just asking for a similar level of courtesy.

Lunch Thursday was great! Had Mezzaluna and a Ceasar Salad, my wife had eggplant parm; both with sides of penne pomedoro.
Overall our was great, the service was exceptional.
Definitely recommend Carrabas Hendersonville for a quiet lunch or special dinner.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill – Hendersonville, TN
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Carrabba’s in Hendersonville! From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The server assistant was just as great—constantly checking in and keeping our table spotless without ever being intrusive.
And the food—delicious as always! Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really tell the team takes pride in both their service and their food.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back.
