  We recently dined at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and had the pleasure of being served by Victor — and let me just say, he was AMAZING! We ordered the Mama’s Fried Shrimp. The food was okay — just not quite seasoned enough for my personal taste. However, the extraordinary service completely outweighed any disappointment with the meal. Victor truly made the experience special. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He even gave us some great recommendations for other dinner spots to try during our stay in Gatlinburg, which we really appreciated. Oh — and the key lime pie was definitely a highlight! 🍰 Overall, while the food didn’t totally wow me, the customer service absolutely did. Victor made our visit memorable, and that kind of hospitality goes a long way. Thank you, Victor!

  Second time coming to this restaurant in 2 days because we normally love the food here when visiting Gatlinburg. The first visit the food was subpar and they barely had any of the menu available. We ordered anyway and spent ever $150.00 for food that was not what we ordered and tasted horrible. We were told the kitchen ran out of the items we ordered. We assumed it was late and gave them a pass. The second visit was worse. We got the same server, who was quite pleasant and we arrive in the afternoon to ensure the items would be available on the menu. We joked with our server that we would wanted to ensure our items were going to be available. She went to the kitchen to “check” to be sure they would be. However, once we ordered, we were told that, in fact, they were again out of 75% hours of the items we ordered that afternoon. For it to be a Friday, before 5pm and there not be food items available is unacceptable and disappointing. The waitress sent the manager, Angie. who offered to comp a dessert for our “trouble.” How about having the items on your menu available, Angie? How about doing a better job at taking responsibility for your staff preparedness for the service delivered to your clients by preparing the appropriate items to n your menu to be available for your patrons. I chose to leave. I’m not choosing to spend another $150 on food that I didn’t come to eat a second time. Do better, Angie. Do better Bubba Gumps!

  We stopped in the Bubba Gump in Gatlinburg. The staff was great and the food was very good. Jerry was our waiter and he was fantastic. Very personable and attentive to our needs. Mama didnt have to tell me I was special because Jerry made sure I felt extra special with a surprise birthday ice cream sandwich. Jerry and his coworkers made my birthday and we had a fantastic time.

  We were seated promptly and within a minute, our server, Justin, came by to welcome us and get a drink/appetizer order. He did some Gump Trivia with us and took our meal order. He was back often to check on our satisfaction and joked about "forgetting which of the desserts we had ordered" 😂 as if we had room for dessert but it was so cleaver of him instead of simply asking if we wanted dessert, he joked about forgetting what we wanted for dessert. (It was funny... Guess you had to be there) The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious and Justin was fabulous. He ended by letting us know that the alcoholic beverages we had ordered come in glasses that we can keep as souvenirs but rather than hauling a dirty glass, we could go by the gift shop and collect an unused one instead. That was awesome. Glad we visited and would highly recommend it.

  We had a disappointing experience with our pickup order at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.. After receiving a text that our order was ready, we arrived and were instructed to go upstairs and wait at the bar. The bartender was very kind and, since we had been directed upstairs, even offered to have the food brought up to us. Unfortunately, we were then told that wouldn’t be possible. To make matters worse, 4 out of our 5 meals were not actually ready despite the “order ready” notification. We had to speak with several different servers, and no one seemed to know the status of our order. The final item a simple cheeseburger and fries came out about 20 minutes after the text saying everything was ready. There were no apologies for the confusion or delay. It was a frustrating experience and not the best way to start our cabin trip in Gatlinburg. We hope they can improve communication and order management in the future. To make matters worse the food was not appetizing trust we tried to make it work as it’s close to 10 pm and don’t have many options in Gatlinburg…
