At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

Not having my smoker here yet we took a chance and used Edleys to order 7lbs of brisket for the party. They DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The brisket had a perfect crust/char and was extremely juicy. The sauce was amazing as well. Will definitely do this on large parties.

When we went to eat, I found they gave me grits instead of the Mac and cheese I ordered, which is one dollar extra. I, also, specified no pickles please, and they had placed 2 under my barbecue. My husband did not get pickles, and they did not provide any sauce. So, the barbecue had no taste. And the barbecue tasted like pickles, which i hate! The green beans were not nearly as flavored as I was used to, and my husband said the baked beans tasted like regular pinto beans. It will take a while before we are willing to try this place again, if ever since we paid over 40 dollars for food we threw away half eaten.

There is no communication in this establishment between workers as we were asked the same question several times. We were also told that our food was to be expected at a certain time and proceeded to wait an additional 30 minutes in the “to-go” portion of the store.

The sides are so good, the only place that nails the grits casserole, and OH MY GOODNESS the banana pudding!! My family eats there at least 2 times per month. When we get out of town visitors, Edley’s is our first stop.
