About

Barbecue RestaurantCatererBar
At Edley's Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked tow and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host-one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

Ribs were undercooked. Green beans were overcooked. Sweet tea was delicious though.

The food was mediocre at best. Pulled pork was dry and everything has an overwhelming taste of green peppers- cornbread, baked beans. Mac and cheese is $1 upcharge and it isn’t good. The portions for the sides are very small (small ramekin) especially when you have an upcharge on some. The sauces are not tasty. We paid $50 for 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals. Both my husband and I agreed that we would never go back unless a friend was begging to go. We waited in a long line and they never opened a second register. It was disappointing when we found out what we were waiting for (after eating). The restaurant looks almost identical to Jim and Nicks BBQ so we thought it would be pretty good. It is rare that I would go as far to say that I wouldn’t go back somewhere, but this is one. The best thing about the whole experience was the ladies who came by our table and asked if we needed anything a few times. They were kind and helpful.

Going through Nashville stayed the night in Franklin Tennessee. This bbq place was recommended by the person checking us in at the hotel. We are from northern Indiana. WORST BBQ I have ever had. Pork was mushy and warm. Not hot. Ribs were ok. Only one bbq sauce available. Best part was the Mac and cheese. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

This place is so freakin’ delicious. The BBQ here is the best I’ve had. My family and I love having lunch here. The servers are quick and super friendly. This place is the bee’s knees.

I don't usually write reviews for places I've had bad experiences at, mainly because I just never return, but this location happens to be in Berry Farms where I currently reside, and our dining options are limited so here we go. The last three times I've visited have been disappointing. The first time, I dined in at the bar and ordered their gumbo special and what I was served was far from - basically served a thin vegetable broth (not rue) in a tiny cup with one sausage and one shrimp. The second time was drive-thru, it was AFTER the winter storm which I know was hard on the restaurant industry, and they only had very limited items available to order - I'd understand if it were a slow-cooked protein but a burger!? The third and most recent experience was yesterday and was what prompted me to write this review. We ordered two smash burgers, I know what you're thinking, how can a bbq spot mess up a burger, but they did! It was a doomed experience from the get-go too. The food was thrown into a brown paper bag and wasn't in to-go containers so the bag was soggy from grease. The sauces we ordered and paid for never made it into the greasy bag, and when we made it home to eat the burgers they were way over-salted and basically inedible. We did get a stray tater-tot in one of our orders which was a bonus but definitely not enough to redeem the horrible experience. I can't fully blame management because I understand the complexities involved in the current landscape of the hospitality industry and challenges with the labor force, but I've given this newer location enough chances to navigate through the challenges and have only been left disappointed.
