The kitchen staff, in particular, deserve genuine praise—the cooks consistently deliver quality food and demonstrate professionalism. However, the same cannot be said for the bar staff. It appears that if a customer is having an open political conversation on the phone and their views differ from those of certain employees, service may become inconsistent. In some instances, they may choose not to serve you directly or may delegate service to someone else based solely on personal disagreement. This behavior is unprofessional and detracts from the otherwise positive environment created by the rest of the staff.
