  Topgolf Knoxville isn’t really about golf. That’s the hook, but it’s not the point. It’s a controlled environment for having a good time without needing to be good at anything. You can show up never having swung a club and still compete, still laugh, still feel like you’re doing something instead of just sitting around. The setup does most of the heavy lifting. You hit balls, the system tracks everything, scores it, turns it into a game. No guesswork, no pressure. It lowers the barrier enough that nobody feels out of place. The space itself is big but not messy. Two levels, open bays, TVs everywhere. You’ve got serious golfers trying to dial things in right next to groups who are just there to drink and swing as hard as they can. Somehow, it works. Food’s better than it needs to be. Not amazing, but not an afterthought either. Service holds up unless it’s slammed, which it will be on weekends. The downside is obvious, price. You’re paying by the hour, and it stacks quickly if you’re eating and drinking. This isn’t a solo stop. It only makes sense if you split it with a group. What it really is is a social activity disguised as a sport. It gives people just enough structure to interact without forcing it. You won’t go every week, but when you do, it delivers.

  Jason, Claire and Madison were absolutely amazing!! Madison was our server and she was so friendly and very helpful and she was very attentive, and you are gonna have a great time no matter what!!! The buffalo chicken dip is my favorite thing here. Also, the drinks are top-tier come have a good time and hit some balls or choke on your own.😂😂😂

  My reservation was for 9 am. I arrived at 8:50am and spoke to girl at the front check in. She saw my reservation and reassured me I would receive a text when the bay is ready. I wait with my wife, while we are waiting it seems a group of people is being sent to their bay. I notice the time and it’s 8:58 am , I figure I’ll be getting a text any minute and by 9:08 I go and ask the girl what’s the hold up I still Haven’t received a text and my reservation is at 9 am. She responds “they are still getting the bay ready” , I replied “ if I had known I’d be starting late I would have made my reservation for 9:15 or 9:30am” She responded with “yeah”. Finally get a text at 9:11 am, get to the bay by 9:15 am and the clock has already started! I’ve lost 15 minutes time and lose even more because I have to listen to the safety rules from the waitress ( I’m okay with listening to and obeying the safety rules in place) I am quite annoyed by now because I’ve lost roughly 20 mins of time I paid for to use the bay due to no fault of my own. There were 2 other groups that had the same time reservation and started late. I extended my time for another 30 mins to make up for the lost time earlier, and paid for it on the bill. During our visit we were never greeted by any manager, nor even get an apology or even acknowledgment that we started late, nothing, staff acted like it’s totally normal. $7.50 per every 15 mins at a $30 per hour rate for a bay. It’s not a lot of money, but it does add up when you do it multiple times. I wonder how much money players lose when starting late at Topgolf venues ?
