On December 30, at 4:42 pm my son placed an order through his online app for the Ultimate Hut Bundle to be picked up at the Elizabethton Pizza Hut location. Per the app the order was due to be ready at 4:56 pm. I arrived at the pickup window around 4:52 and paid using my credit card. The young woman in the window told me it would be ready shortly and left the window. No cars were behind me in line.
Several minutes passed and a different young woman came into sight at the window and began counting out the cash drawer. By this time I could see a couple of cars behind me in line. No one had told me to move forward, or had checked back with me at all. By about 10 minutes past the time the app had estimated for the order to be ready, cars behind me began moving out of line and going on around the building.
I pushed the service button to try to get an update on my order. No one came. I pressed it again after a few minutes and a young man came and slid the window back with such force it banged against the opposite frame. In a discourteous tone he asked, "how can I help you?" I explained that I had been waiting for quite some time for my order, and that it was past the time it was due to be ready. He said "the wings are still cooking." He asked if I wanted to pull forward and wait for them to bring it to me. There were no cars left behind me in line, by this point, so I told him I'd just wait there.
Meanwhile, while I'm continuing to wait for my order, an older gentleman comes around the building to the front of my car and begins to berate me for being "inconsiderate by holding up the line waiting for an order I had placed at the window and refusing to move while I waited for them to prepare it." I said, "Sir that is not what happened. My order was placed well ahead and was due to be ready for pickup within a couple of minutes of my arrival." He said, "she asked you to move forward twice, and you refused." I said, "whoever told you that is a liar."
I finally received my order about 20-25 minutes later than the stated estimate on the app, was treated rudely by several Pizza Hut employees, apparently lied about by the employees to other customers (if the elderly gentleman is to be believed), and was accosted and berated by another customer--all as a result of the incompetence of the staff at the Elizabethton Pizza Hut.

Look like delivery driver thro it in the trunk on the drive. Ordered at 1:13 and delivered to me at 1:34 clearly pizza was not even cooked. Bout normal for todays work force. Absolutely a joke.

Places definitely gone way downhill over the years way overpriced compared to other pizza parlors around the area or atmosphere is kind of dull. Not exactly some place I'd want to have a gathering unless it was a funeral. Staff is just overstressed and underpaid apparently. Not someplace I'd visit again anytime soon. So disappointed

The first time I tried this location and the pan pizza was good. It's actually a relief when you can actually enjoy the food you just paid for. Too bad this isn't always the case.
