Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I have eaten at this location which is Eastridge Tennessee. The people are rude and do not care about quick or considerate service. If it wasn’t for the food it self being good I would give them 1 star. So if you don’t order ahead or call ahead your wait will be almost 20 minutes! Which I think is ridiculous considering the term fast food and also having a good number of people in the back where they cook the food! I have witnessed on numerous occasions that they will stand around and chat giggle and play around while they state your food is being prepared! I’m so sorry for this long review but someone needs to call and complain about the service!

Walked in and noticed employees standing around not doing anything in the dine-in area or the kitchen. There was a line of customers waiting to place their orders. The ones in the dine-in area were having conversations with the employees taking orders and the ones taking them to the table. When we finally got up to order our food we asked to speak to the manager. When she came out we mentioned the employees standing around and she said that they were off the clock. Our response to her was that they shouldn't be distracting the employees that are still on the clock and working or hanging out in the seating area. After waiting approximately 20 minutes we had to go ask where our order was and it was just sitting on a tray in the kitchen. Will not go back again. Food was ok but the service wasn't. Poor training of employees including the "manager" on duty if that was her position.

I recently visited Whataburger and had a mixed experience. On a positive note, the restaurant was very clean, and the presentation of the food was neat. The cashier, listed as Young J on the receipt, provided great customer service—friendly and professional, which definitely stood out and felt worth the price.
However, the food itself did not meet expectations. I went in expecting something better than places like Five Guys or Burger King, but my food was cold immediately after it was brought out. That was disappointing and something I’d strongly recommend improving—food temperature should always be within the proper range when served.
Additionally, my daughter’s burger bun was a bit soggy in the middle. While the front of the restaurant was visibly clean, it does make you wonder about the food preparation area in the back.
I’m willing to give it another try because of the cleanliness and good customer service, but I do hope the food quality and temperature are improved next time.

Usually come here regularly but this will likely be my last time. When I got my food I asked for dipping sauce, like I do every time, but this time I was asked to pay 49 cents for it.
Being caught off guard by that, I asked “since when?” the drive through employee said “since always” which isn’t even in the slightest being true. Since she couldn’t answer to that, the manager then came in and gave me some corporate coded response to me saying that it’s always been in place, when I’ve eaten here more than 10 times and have never been charged for a dipping sauce.
I usually look past little things like that but I don’t like being lied to. I can deal with a bad meal from time to time, but I do not deal with poor customer service.

First experience at this location. Went inside to dine in. One register open. Took forever to order. People were leaving the restaurant because they had stood in line so long to order food. Ordered two meals one bacon cheese WB plain meal, an other plan triple cheese WB. Once we ordered took forever to get the food. As it seemed they only cared about the drive through orders. A manger brought our food out to us She didn’t bring any condiments with her and was bothered with the fact that we asked for ketchup and she had to come back. Entire time she was on her cellphone while others worked. Both of the burgers we got were smothered in mustard. The bathrooms were disgusting. One toilet was stopped up. No toilet paper or paper towels. Floors needed to be mopped. Overall the experience was not pleasant. Only positive feedback I can give was the burgers and fries were fresh and hot.
