Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Just left out of this location on Macon, in which I come here all the time on lunch and eat. Today Michell I don’t know if she was the manager or regular staff but today I came in to have just a cup of ice and was told that I have to pay for ice. I looked at the menu and it’s not even listed on the menu. I told her I know managers from whataburger personally that have told me Ice water or just ice is free per policy, she stated that it’s never been the policy and I have to pay for ice . Last time going to this location. Rode down the street and got that same cup of ice free. It ridiculous that I come and spend my money at this very location all the time and all I ask for was a cup of ice rather it was larger cup or small it cost nothing to have good customer service and providing a welcoming embrace when walking in the store. I ask another lady who actually was about to give me a cup and she told her put the cup back I had to pay for a cup of ice that’s not even on the menu. Never going back customer who eat here often makes a difference.

Told she cashier 3 times no mustard, got a few miles down the road and it was drenched in mustard. Overall, the staff did not listen. When we said to go, they brought it to us on a tray to dine in.
