  Store layout is clean, meaning it’s always fairly simple to locate whatever Im looking for - and even when I can’t, it’s always just a matter of asking for directions. It’s always pleasant interacting with staff. They have smaller carts for children and those shoppers not buying enough to justify a full-size cart. Many of the name-brand products on sale will actually have slightly cheaper generic “Food Lion” equivalents placed right next to them. At checkout you will get cold and frozen items put in a different color of plastic bag for easy identification. By signing up for their MVP card (a very simple process), you get a discount on basically everything they sell. Once per week, I get a paper in the mail telling me about savings on particular items. Although I don’t use them myself, having charging stations for electric vehicles in the parking lot is definitely a nice touch; and the entire lot is decently illuminated at night, which is good for safety. In summary, if you’re looking to buy groceries on a budget, go here! I got this massive bag of carrots for ONLY FIVE DOLLARS!!!

  ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Our family scored today while looking for a Christmas tree. Whereas big chains like Lowe’s are pushing trees close to $100, Food Lion has them all priced at $50. That alone felt like a win, but I really appreciated how easy they made it. No upselling, no hassle, just grab your tree and go. An employee even came out to help us load it onto the roof of our van. It’s nice when a store remembers regular folks don’t just want fair prices around the holidays, they count on them.
