We were standing at the counter picking out a cake from the freezer when an employee came over while on the phone listing flavors to another customer. As she was reading them off, we pointed directly to the cake we wanted and said, “We’re getting that one.” We were physically in the store and ready to pay. Instead of selling it to us, she pulled it out and said, “Can you get something else, this is the size she needs” I said “that’s the size we need too.” She came back over and said the people she was on the phone with were getting that one.So apparently phone customers get priority over the people standing right in front of you ready to PAY. I would like to make this very clear; WE WERE STANDING THERE TO BUY IT! She was ON THE PHONE. When we questioned it, the “lead” manager was rude and condescending and even implied we were lying about claiming it first. Stating “I was standing right there, that’s not what happened” Rather than trying to resolve the situation, she repeatedly said, “That’s just how things work,” with zero professionalism or empathy. We even asked if we could buy two smaller cakes for the price of the larger one we had planned on getting, and she immediately snapped, “No, we can’t do that,” followed by another dismissive “That’s unfortunate.” Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Very disappointing experience. Do better. And tell the little girl employees you have to work on their snobby attitudes.

Fast Food can be rough, trust me I get it but these employees can be quite mean. I talked with other people about it and they said the same that they have quit going. BR has been in Cleveland a very long time and I have fond memories of it as a kid. I hate to see it go downhill like that.

Can I sign up my children and other family members for the Birthday Club?
Yes. Each Birthday Club account can have only one primary person (age 13 and up); however, members can add up to 5 other family members to their accounts easily.

You’ll need to reset your password. Visit our “Log In” page in the BR App or online and click “Forgot Password”. We’ll ask for your email address and will send you an email where you can create a new password. Still having trouble? Contact Consumer Care at 800-859-5339 and we’ll give you a hand.
How do I remove a family member from my Birthday Club account?
To remove a family member, log in to your account in the BR App or online and go to “Family Members.” Then, click “Remove” next to the family member’s name. A window will pop up. Select “Remove” again to confirm the deletion.
