Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers reported slow service, incorrect orders, and long wait times, particularly in the drive-thru.

Tasty burgers. Cleaner than the ones I visited in New Mexico and South Texas.

Drive thru was a little slow but it was worth the wait. Sweet and Spicy Burger is really good. I won't have to eat dinner the burger is so filling. Add large fries and a Dr. Pepper and you're living life right. Don't forget that spicy ketchup.

We stopped in here on our way back through from Tennessee to Missouri. You need a quick bite to eat and we don’t have Whataburger‘s in our area. Was not disappointed at the Service, the food and the cleanliness of this restaurant. I do recommend stopping in and giving it a try!

slowest service at 4:30 in the morning when it’s not even busy. my whole order was wrong, my dr pepper was a coke, didn’t realize until i got home. that one is kinda my fault. my burger was wrong and my chicken tenders were RAW. i asked for a refund and was only refunded the $6 tenders despite my whole order being completely wrong. absolutely ridiculous.
